microblisters in paintwork

I have been looking a couple of lower cost replacement projects for my haynes..
I'm currently looking at the TVR S series.
Project cars can be picked up for peanuts,
One I looked at had microblisteres all over the grp.
What is the likely cause and remedy?

Osmosis !!?? Caused by water penetration or present during initial lay up.

I've got a sneaking suspicion the car has had a respray through
it was a metallic black, not sure how availabel this colour was in the late 80s. mmmm

Could be air in the lay up but more than likely a dodgy spray job as grp needs different prep to steel.
The gel coat needs to be really "killed with 80 grit pad on a da"" to get rid of any wax as this attacks the paint, star cracks should be dug right out as will just come back to haunt you even after rubbing down and the appear to have gone....spooky stuff grp but not as spooky as wiring

There yer go....dodgy paint job!....Oh and it's a car called TreVoR even more dodgy....

so the remedy for a dogey paint job, strip back to gel coat and get done properly...

I would say so yes but if it's for track day gigglefestage why bother as you are bound to spank it, much better to spend on tyres, underpants and brakes than a shiney paint job..?
