Default kitparts direct ltd

I ordered seats from this supplier's e-bay shop. They have not turned up.
I payed through PayPal on the 7th Sept. On Thursday 16th I e-mailed asking for delivery date, they said it was fedexed and would be here by Friday. No seats on friday- e-mailed again asking for tracking number- said he would send tracking number on Saturday-come monday I again asked for seat tracking number- no answer till Tuesday, said if it wasn't here on Wednesday he would give full refund. Surprise surprise no seats on Wednesday.

Has anyone had dealings with this mob. I am now really suspicious about them. Why would they not just send out new seats instead of offering refund?

Bought mine, turned up more or less next day.

Always answered my e-mails promptly too.

Was it definatly KPD or could it have been kitspares?

Remember-

KPD is no longer associated with GBS , this changed back in April.

Give them a ring and keep trying untill you get through.

I bought a set of harnesses, nothing turned up after emails replying chasing couirer. After 2 weeks and 3 days of phoning I got through. They thought I wanted ones for a saloon car even tho they were for a 7 sytle. Sent out next day fed-x.

Give them a ring and keep trying untill you get through.

PS I paid £76 for mine and saw an add in CKC a week later saying £35 each + free post.

Hi Bill,

I don't think you have anything to worry about. I have used then on serveral occasions and met the guys at the various shows. I think they are just a little unorganised.

Hope you're right. I've sent another e-mail giving them till the end of the month to sort it out, otherwise, I'm going through the e-bay complaints procedure.
I've tried on numerous occassions to contact them by phone but only get an answer phone. Anyway, time will tell and I will be only too happy to apologise if my seats and runners come

This may help,if you used a credit card contact the card company and they can refund your money and take it from the supplier electronically.

I got a steering wheel, side repeaters and stone chip guards off them and although took a few days or so to arrive, they all came eventually as described.

Best bit so far: Getting it running
Worst bit so far: Cutting steel for wishbones and engine mounts.
Most annoying bit so far: Generator packing up half way through welding.
