Default No IVA this summer for me :( Rant warning.

Due to my Ex-Wife Totally ruining my finances for the forseeable future my car wont be going on the road this summer Ive been throwing loads of cash into it lately and have enought parts to carry on building as long as i dont have to spend too much but due to the fact ive just been hit with court orders to pay £3,500 in outstanding debts i didnt even know existed that my ex wife had accrued whilst we were married. I now cannot afford to live on my basic wage let alone spend money on non essentials like the kit and the rip off cost of an IVA test, Im still having to pay her £150 a WEEK in Child maintanence because the CSA have this stupid Idea I earn £900 a week. I WISH! but they wont re asses the claim until July! and on of it my rent has just been put up on both my home and lock up, things are that bad im even having to SORN my tintop when the tax runs out the end of this month.
And to add to it the stables I have an intrest in were broken into on thursday of last week so ive just lost a generator, cement mixer and chainsaw, plus the damaged the thieving bastards did getting in! SO ive had to repair that and fortify the place and fit an car alarm to the bloody barn since theres no mains power there.

On the upside Things should improve slightly come the end of April as we get into the busy period at work and I can chuck huge amounts of over time in, problem is this kills all working timeon the kit.

Im just so F**ked off Ive spent the last 18 months virtually killing myself working 18-20 hour days 6 days a week clearing £12,800 in debts that she accrued she ruined my finacially whilst we were together when I left i had literally the clothes on my back and my work tools, it took me 6 months to get my build back and even then I had to replace my compressor, welder and some of the bigger tools (grinder etc)

So sorry lads doesnt look like I shall be blatting about with you all this year, Im still hoping to make stonliegh and newark if I can affod it even if its just for a beer an a hot dog.

Rant over

Cheers for listening

Carl

Thats a bitch Carl, most of us grown ups have gone through that situation but you have it bad......

I know how much work you have been putting into lately and it is a real shame, whatever you do though do not be tempted to sell the project to raise some cash please - you will certainly regret it.

Take Care.....Andrew

Hi Carl,
Sorry to hear about your problems. If it's any consolation your situation sounds depressingly familiar...

I am awaiting BAD,BAD,Reasonable, or good news in the next day or so.

If it's one ( but not the other ) of the two bads then it's belt tightening time. Well actually the belt was tightened last month.

But.. when it comes to the assets and the cars, the roadster will be close to last to going. Hopefully that wont ever happen though.

Anyway..

If you get it done this year or next it's going to to be a great feeling when it's done and you can put what has happend behind you.

TT

Sheesh! Man that's a real bummer. Chin up though, you'll get back on track and get it done then you can get out and enjoy the fruits of your labours.

I would never sell mine either the ammount of work that went into it, i would rather chop my arm off!

Just keep chipping away at your situation and it will all come good, eventually.
