Default cvh to zetec

Thinkin ahead of the build a little bit i have the chance to get a 1800 zetec black top engine with all ancillaries and gearbox for £125

what i would like to know is what zetec engine is normally swapped with the cvh after the build is complete as i have heard silvertop and blacktop zetec mentioned etc.

can anyone shed any light
cheers

I'd try to get one that was made before 1995, that way you don't need to run a cat

Not sure but I think some of the early blacktops where pre 1995, but I could be wrong. I suppose if you could get the engine casting number off the block you could look it up?
