How long to the brake flexis have to be?

I had 4 x 500mm long ones made up by Russboot over on LocostBuilders. Mine go through the body work on the side panels though (As per the book) Although AshG mentioned you may be better off fixing them to the side panel its self.

They have to be long enough to reach from the brakes to the solid pipe.
Snigger, titter, gufufle.

Mine are 450mm long.
Be aware that the flexi on the rear needs to be a banjo type.
Or a short length of solid from the drum.

mine are 450mm for the front & 400mm on the rear (with hard pipe from backing plate to the upright).

I got some Unused Goodrich flexies from a XR4i, hopefuly they will be long enough

think mine were around 450-500.

Think from the dimensions on brakes Int , that mine will be too short. Owill fit one of the sierras though

Does anyone have a good photo of the rear brake hose fitted? Either with the banjo fitting or short length of pipe? I need to have hoses made as the ones I ordered never came. Trying to decide which style of fitting is best on the rear with drums.
