Default Enoch's Nearly Done

Hi folks, been a while since I have done anything significant but my car is now done except for the bonnet and some finishing / tidying. I will be speaking to my local DVLA next week and aim to go for IVA some time in March / April. Photos and words can be found here: http://www.deepfolly.co.uk/8.html
The new stuff is all at the end of that page.
Enoch.

A little bit of wd40 will get the leathette looking nice and shiney again, or window cleaner that seems to remove dirt from most things.

Other than that looking good.

looks really good.
where did you get tape for pedals in end?
small point, but are you allowed to have fuel filler inside the boot. i thought it had to be outside of area in case of overfill etc. maybe (probably) completely wrong

Well thank you all for your kind comments, I'm not much of a photographer but hopefully the pics give some idea.

Steve, the pedals have ribbed rubber stuck to them, it came from Woolies trim supplies. It gives incredible grip and should keep the IVA man happy.
The filler is ok as the rear area is not enclosed, it only has a top on it. The tank is vented, the vent pipe terminates in the bottom corner so any fumes vent to outside the tank area.

Thanks for the WD40 tip, Landy, I will give that a try. I normally only use it for after shave but don't mind using it on the car

I still intend to marry my car, even though I caught the dirty bitch looking at my next door neighbour in a funny way My Wife doesn't understand me
Best to all,
Dave.

i see you mounted your ecu on the scuttle with the black plastic service port cover upwards and un sealed!
get some silicone around the metal case joints and service cover to stop the damp getting in or it will be toast
