Best bit so far: Getting it running
Worst bit so far: Cutting steel for wishbones and engine mounts.
Most annoying bit so far: Generator packing up half way through welding.

well, i had a look at my huge steel stock and thought i may as well have a go at the front frame, at worst i would waste a bit of tube. After almost severing my finger with a hacksaw and cocking up the section cut i finally managed it and its straight!!!!

il get some pics up later

Should i Fully weld the front frame to the bottom chassis rails at this stage or just tack them and leave some claps in place? im trying to keep my tacks as small as possible so i can get some beautiful welds later on without having to do too much grinding.

Congratulations on getting the front frame done, I had a nightmare with mine during the week, I am sure it is born of the devil, a son of Satan
