Have a look at my build thread - it shows how I used the MX5 pedals master cylinder, clutch slave cylinder and also the throttle cable from my MX5 donor

Does the brake reservoir have to be the highest point of the system when using the mx5 master cylinder

I wouldn't think any master cylinder has to be the highest point wherever it comes from. I've just help install twin masters on a pedal box arrangement with no issues.

Hi if you are using the original mx5 pedals top hung with clutch and brake master cylinders attached (with or without servo), they will be the highest point in the systems anyway that makes it best for bleeding etc.

I would have thought not - the brake fluid won't flow back into the reservoir, it just needs to be be above the m/c to gravity feed it?
