complete wiring
hello, i will soon be starting a haynes roadster build just need some help with the electrics i want to do as much of it myself as i can to save on costs but i dont have a clue what i need i need to wire up the following:
engine system (not sure what) :/ ecu 2x headlight low beam 2x headlight high beam 2x front indicators 2x rear brake lights 2x rear indicators 1x reverse light 1x fog light 1x number plate lamp 1x fuel gauge 1x oil temp gauge 1x voltmeter 1x speedo 1x rev counter 2x interior indicator dash lights 1x main beam interior dash light 1x low batter interior dash light 1x low oil pressure interior dash light 1x handbrake interior light there is some more stuff but cant remember everythin lol lots of stuff to wire up and not sure what to do, i have basic soldering skills etc but not much :/ can anyone give me any advice on what else i need and tips of how to do it or people/companies that do it all at a reosanable price etc if it has any differance i plan on running a 2lt ford vetec engine with throttle boddies and an emerald ecu, soz its alot to read but really need help, i am forward planning for when i start my build. Don't be scared off by the wiring, it's really not that hard.
Get a copy of John Dicken's book on automotive wiring, it's really easy to follow. I made my loom from scratch following the book, 1 circuit at a time, and I'd never even attempted anything like it before.

thanks aerosam will try to look out for that book
and where are the side repeaters usually places on a roadster, i dont think i have seen any with them? |
