Fuel Sender Sealant/Glue?
What sort of sealant/glue would be good use to attach and seal the electrical plug for the fuel sender to a 1mm steel plate?

Been digging and came across zap z-poxy (http://www.axminster.co.uk/zap-z-pox...sin-prod23719/) just wondering if this stuff is ok to use? Is there any difference between this stuff and more generic epoxy's that are alot cheaper? Is there something better to use?

Maybe not epoxy based glue as it would be a bugger to remove afterwards. Pro-Seal do a range of Silicone based "Instant Gasket":
http://www.supergluecorp.com/pro-sea...-gasket-makers Certain colours for differents applications, the black one would be suited to the fuel tank sender. Have used them quite a bit with no issues. Your local motor factors may have them in stock. AndyH

No i wouldn't use it as an adhesive, self tapping screws would be the choice if you can.
