Geedle Build Thread
Hi,
I have been slowly working on my Haynes MX5 build. Progress is really slow (kids, work, house and other unreliable cars) but I am close to finishing the chassis. My aim is to build rather than buy as much as possible. So I'm working on brackets for the wishbones and the struts, but I stopped to build a press and die to make it a bit neater/easier (the press is awesome, if not pretty). Here is a couple of pics of progress: https://goo.gl/photos/zkspphqLe51hmYFa7 My previous project was a ground up rebuilt of my series Landy, So I'm hoping for less rust and a project that will fit better in my single garage. Great to see another new builder!
Looks like you've stormed ahead with the chassis, hope you make faster progress than I have |

I did a lot before my first post - progress is painfully slow!
Nearly done all the tacking together. Want to make a time lapse video of the welding... |

Well done so far. Always ask when you hit a problem - most on here have already got there and sorted it so will be ready willing and able to help :-)
