Default rallydesign headlight choice

I'm making an order from rallydesign soon and was thinking of getting dome headlights from them too. The £79 pair seem good value but was wondering if anyone got a recommendation.

I have the carbon effect ones listed as HD001 which are quite nice but pricey.I have added a couple of links to other suppliers.I also really like the hello oval headlights on the svc site which are the ones you see on the mev rocket i think.

Looks a good deal. This is a good size headlight for the car although you will find most lights on a 7 type car are pretty crap at night.

I've heard that the majority of kit car headlights are crap but the SVC lights are supposed to be pretty good and are used on Westfields see this thread on Locost builders:

And link to SVC headlights:

these look really nice pricey but ....

the websites are all a bit naff when it comes to info regarding iva ok or not it does state " e mark approval uk and europe. iva regulation. this lamp meets current and forthcoming 2012 eec/uk lighting regulations.

hopefully they are ok with the indicator positioning for iva the diagram on the westfield site suggests not

max height for front indicator

1500mm or if
impracticable
2300mm for side
direction
indicators and
2100mm for front
and rear
direction
indicators

so would this statement suggest built in indicators would meet requirements if fitted to our vehicles?
