25mm or 1in?
Hi All,
I recently purchased a part finished Venom GT2 kit that will be cannibalised for my yet to be started Haynes Roadster, so I am some way from even starting the actual build. I have however been looking at steel stockholders in the Wigan/Manchester area and most only do 25x25 x2 or heavier. I have found one that does 1in x 1in x 16g but that makes it 25.4 x 25.4. Should I keep looking or go for the 1inx1in ? Mark |

Hey Mark
Welcome to the forum mate, my handhandy flat pack was 25x25x2mm. He did offer 2mm or 1.6mm, but i went for the thicker tube. |

I would have gone the route of buying a kit off Andy just for because it’s easier than transporting/storing/cutting free lengths. However, from what I read on here Andy has either health or personal issues that appear to have taken him away from production, so it will have to be the traditional route. Mark |

shhh every body keep quiet let him suffer like the rest of you did using a hack saw or angry grinder..... cue evil laugh.
Sorry I have been plumbing a shower and fitting a new sink that turns out was supplied with the wrong pedestal so not in the best frame of mind, in short I can supply you with a tube only flat pack in 1.6 or 2mm wall for £200 plus £30 delivery.

Seriously, if your doing the whole chassis forget stock...
Buy a flat pack. Safer, Quicker, More acurate, Easier logisticaly, More expensive but this is recouped partly against cutting tools, plasters, fuel to get to A&E, Etc... TT

Flat pack is the best idea if doing a stock ish build. Had to do all my chassis to custom sizes and took ages with a few mistakes along the way! If doing again i would get a flat pack and save myself a lot of blades.
