not sure on the actual question , but its there to be tried and would be rather interesting! and never realised there was builders so local!

Is that a manual gearbox? Looks very compact. I have all the bits for a Zetec black top roadster but after reading this months kit car mag I feel like going onto BMW now.

Looks like a Getrag box, and yes they normaly are quite compact.

Do you have any updates on you engine installation?
That's what I'm looking to do. Perhaps with with a rear gearbox with diff to balance the car a bit more. A gearbox say out of a 1999 audi a6, shifting issues though. What do you think?

This is my current daily driver & I intend to keep it for my next donor.
It has the M52 2.5 straight 6 engine with large air intake manifold , mmmm 1 day when the bodywork falls apart that engine will find its way into my Roadster
