Default What engine in a "H" reg GLX

Been to look at a possible donor tonight. Meeting the owner tomorrow. It's a "H" reg GLX. Anyone any idea what motor/box it'll have in it. Looks very tatty but it'll do. It's only 12 miles away and it's mine for a silly price if I want it.

Cheers Andy. I'm not too bothered as I plan to change as soon as IVA is done. As long as it's not a V6

what are you planning on installing at a later date?

I,m pretty sure that when my CVH goes bang I,ll be putting in a 2.0ltr Zetec on bike carbs & megajolt

exhaust exits on the same side & uses the same engine mounts

If your possible donor has the MT75 box then this will make the drivers footwell space slightly smaller that if you have the Type 9 box.

cheers

2.0L zetec was my plan as well. Bike engine would be nice but waay too expensive.

1.8 CVH with Type 9

Or

2.0 DOHC ( Carb Or EFI ) with an MT75
