Locating a wire
Hi,
I'm having trouble finding a feed for my dip beam from the light switch, i've a grey for the side lights, the book says brown/black but i can't seem to get any power of this wire no matter what i do with the key or switch position. Any ideas would be appreciated. Terry

Probably that wire provides ground for a relay with a permanent live on the other side of the winding.

Iirc you won't find a live at the Sierra switch because the switch is used to earth the circuit. The dip relay is with fed with a live from the fuse box and the switch earth the other side of the relay to complete the circuit. I think the side lights are the other way round ie the switch is fed with a live from the fuse box then through the switch to the lights.
