Finishing my car in a container....
How much of a pain will it be to finish my build from a 20ft container? I will need to get a small petrol generator for tools ect but part from that anyone know any other problems or issues i might have?

ventilation and possibly condensation, more likely if your working in there in the winter?

Been done by someone on here but cant remember who,good comercial containers are waterproof.

think it was david17 who built his car in a container it was white with a red stripe iirc
shipping containers are sealed and pritty much watertight thay where floating about in the sea down here a few years back when that msc napoli dropped its guts in lyme bay |

Being watertight is exactly the problem, water cant get in and moisture cant get out, if your spending a few hours in there then just by breathing you will be creating a moist environment which could condensate down the cold walls resulting in a damp sealed box.
I didn't mean it as a major risk but it might be beneficial to add a couple of vents in it if possible. Also investigate the paint Bob mentioned as that could help. Bruce |

The problem is trying to find a place near where i live that i can make noise and work during weekends and evenings. Its going to cost me £100 a month to rent a 20ft in the same trading estate where i work. One coming up next month so need to find an alternative before then if pos.
