Help - Where is it! The Engine Number on a CVH
I've been looking for it to no avail.
All i can think is its hiding under the timing belt covers somewhere. I have the number as it forms part of the donor chassis number (the last 7 digits) but I can't find it on the engine and mr IVA will need to see it!!

Look on the inlet side to the left or right of manifold on a protruding piece of the block

you wouldn't happen to have a picture?
Is it towards the front or rear of the engine, on the block not the head and fairly high up. I've moved my alternator to the inlet side so wonder if I've covered it up if its low down.

Mine is near the front high up on the block but it could be at the rear too!
