Thumbs up Decent uprights

After a lot of searching about and reading up on scrub and kingpin inclination etc I have decided not to go with the granada uprights. The thought of the steering wheel being torn out of my hands going through a puddle put me off the idea.I have just collected a pair of RX7 fds front uprights complete with calipers from ebay for £200. The nice thing about them is theycome with 294mm vented discs and a nice ali four pot brake caliper. The bottom joint is the same as mx5 so I can use the lower wishbone thats already made. Top joint at the moment is a non tapered unit that has a pinch bolt,I cant use the original as its part of the cast wishbone of the car. Any ideas anybody? That now leaves me to redrill my granada rear hub to accept 114mmx5 pcd and I can use jap wheels which are in abundance.
