Aluminium sheet
i'm coming to the stage where i need to buy the aluminium (when money allows).
what sort of price have people paid as i'm not sure on what is a good price? I have plently of 1-2mm steel off-cuts in work enough to do the tranny tunnel sides, would this be too heavy for the sides of the car do you think??? any help is good help Cheers Dean

If your tight for funds or on a budget use 1mm steel for the sides,tunel,back etc and 2mm for the floor(s). As for weight I would'nt worry as the average passenger weighs 60-80kg and you can always fit a bigger engine. Besides a little extra weight is not always a bad idea as it will put some much needed heat in the tyres.
