Default rack exstension problem

hi guys had my rack exstensions made with the extra 30mm knocked off the body length, but they are still to long and kicking the wheels right out. so having them shortened now to suit. just woundering have they got to be a certain length for iva? or as long as they do the job safely they will b ok

They are not needed for IVA, just a way of extending the track control arms of the steering rack to make it suitable for use on the Roadster.

I Guess when they are used, the IVA tester will be looking to see if they are fit for purpose
