Seat mounting
I have my seats and want to weld in the mounting points. The drivers side has a runner fitted the passenger side will be fixed.
Would 3mm x 40mm steel be strong enough to mount them to? They'll be bolted through from the underside with an oversize washer. |

I've done roughly the same, 3x 50 strip that the runners are mounted to, floor is 3mm alu under that. Plenty strong enough I am sure.
