Advice needed
have been following the thread about propshafts, & today i have had it confirmed that i don,t need to supply my donor propshaft to have a new one made for my build...............
so,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, there is someone local to me that needs my propshaft for his build ( not a Haynes Roadster), so the advice i,m after is "what would be a fair price ?" i don,t want to rip him off but if i can get something for the propshaft it would offset part of the replacement cost, or am i being a tight git ???? andy

Couple quid for it so you don't feel you are taking the michael and buying gets a bargain?

Or you could mention your currently looking for a certain part and say you'd be more than willing to trade your prop for that part, then if they dont have it they can locate it and it shouldnt seem like you're taking the mick asking for an unreasonable thing. The smaller the part the better as it should make it seem like they are getting a much better deal e.g. a box of high tensile 8.8 grade bolts.
