Default Build has now started

Hi guys
I have finally started my build so here goes the next 3 ish years!!!!
I think I have done the photo bucket correctly aswell.

So first question with the welds on the Sva how do they like to see them ground down or left??????

I've never heard about IVA examiners paying any attention to the welds, except the ones for the seat belt anchor points. The accepted wisdom on here is to flatten the welds where ali or GRP panels will sit and leave the rest as they are.

As I general rule I only 'reduce' the welds where the panels will touch them. Do not grind the weld completely flush with the surface of the tube leave it about 0.5mm proud otherwise you might just have not bothered to weld it. If your going to be using stickaflex to bond your body panels on you should end up with a layer 0.5-1mm thick any way so the reduced welds should not cause a problem.

After having a productive Sunday it's starting to look something!!!
Through out my build if anyone sees something that doesn't look right please comment all advise would be appreciated!!!

These things just fall together over a few weekends just add some welding sparks and your away.
