Default Steel Ordered!

Total came to £126 delivered inc an extra 18m of 25x25 box to make myself a floor to ceiling shelving unit. It actually worked out cheaper to get them delivered than to get them all cut in half and to collect them myself. It will be delivered by friday at the latest so i should be starting my chassis next week as im away this weekend

I just need to get the garage all squared away now, i had an interesting meeting with a rat this morning when i was moving stuff around

Cool Nice one

Well done that man

The garage will soon be alive with the sounds of cutting, grinding & metal being fried up with the MIG

Enjoy your build

I got it from a company called FM Steelstock, based in Newburn near Newcastle Upon Tyne.

So far i've cut all of the bottom rails. I now need to build a build table and then start welding. Im currently in the process of trying to source a donor car, well i've sourced one, its just the logistical nightmare im currently going through in order to get it stripped and to the scrapyard.

I got my steel two days ago. Here in Lithuania, I paid around around 32 GBP for 42 metres of 25x25x1.5 and 12 metres of 20x20x1.5. They cut it in half and I brought it on the roof rack. It's made out of hot rolled steel though, a bit dirty.
