Headlights
I am looking for a pair of black 5 3/4 healights. There seems to be a lot to choose from. Some reasonably priced and some of them seem way overpriced. Its hard to tell which ones will pass IVA though.
Does anywhere know of a good source (reasonably priced) David

When I get to that stage, I was going to get these from kitpartsdirect. Although in the pack description it says nothing about e marks, when you look at the individual unit it states that it is. Not a bad price methinks :-)

I got the 7" ones of those for my build. They are E marked, but only HID and LED headlights need to be E marked anyway for IVA.

Are you sure that's the case? Over here American headlights have to be replaced with the European dip, E-marked ones for the car to pass MOT.

The spread must be right but it doesn't state they need to be E marked unless they are Gas discharge or LED units. The only light that the manual says must be E marked is the rear fog light.
I would have thought American spread is slightly different to European spread and being E marked is the easiest way of checking, in the amount of time allocated to an MOT, that the spread is right? Cheers Stot

The wife and kids bought me so 5 3/4" lights from SVC..
 They're a bit pricey though but I wanted the wiring to be hidden so I guess that's just down to personal preference.
