Default laser cutting chassis plates

I want to get some chassis plates laser cut ....I know there are a few places that sell the kits already but my problem is the postage cost from the uk to Thailand .

So my question is what do I need to take to a laser cutter to make the plates ?

For any CNC cutting you must source CAD files of the plates. One version can be found in this thread http://www.haynes.co.uk/forums/showt...ight=cad+files.

Basically yes!
Although my advice is to source some CAD viewing software at first, and review the content of these files. So you can check the files and choose the details you want to order.

I just received the quote for the chassis plates

all 3mm plates including shock mounts, wishbone mounts ,pedal box, rear upright parts ,wing stays and wishbone bracket jig
as well as the parts cp11 cp16 cp16a and cp17 for the costly sum of £116.00

the 5mm plates cp10 ,ds1 ,ds2 and lower wishbone plates for £26.00

The 10 mm plates RU7 and RU8 £31.00

that is with all holes drilled the wish bone and shock brackets are not bent

I think that is not a bad price in all.
