|  Advice and suggestions please Ok I an sitting here thinking about my next build and cant make my mind up on the spec  I would like it to be north of 250 to 300 horses but what engine could I get at a reasonable cost that would both fit and produce that kind of power May use mx5 front hub's and sierra rear end Would love some input from you lot Thanks |

|   Mine will be up there abouts, but then again nissans might be an acquired taste, if you hang fire a few weeks I will give you a taste as I am sending off my reg application off today  |

|   It has got to be honda s2000 hasn't it ? The v tech engine is a total beast, and they are amazingly tuneable. Nitrous, v tech timers, cams whatever. That engine is as strong as an ox, and an absolute peach when you let the old girl get to about 6500 7000 revs. If I had the money, this engine would be in my car without a doubt.   |

|   Seconded, S2000 has the best 4-pot motor ever.  ~240 horses in factory tune out of a 2 litre atmospheric engine!  VTEC cutoff at around 5500 rpm, and 8500 rpm redline!
