![]() Morning guys.
Anyone know the exact location of the fuel pump on a 2.0 efi Sierra. I'm just being lazy, I haven't even started to look for it yet. But it's bstd cold outside today, so hoping someone will know. Save me hunting around for it, freezing me berejeebers off... ![]() ![]() I'm hoping I can use the original rather than buying a new one. Any opinions appreciated Cheers

![]() My Haynes manual don't cover the 2 litre EFI sierra
![]() But if it is the same as the 2 litre DOHC it'll be in the tank ............Very much, same as fitted to the Mudaneo & Escort Zetec engined cars ![]() Can't remember if there is an access plate under the rear seat, so as you can lift out the pump & sender assembly !! Dare say you can soon make one ![]() ![]()

![]() Mine was in the tank too j reg dohc estate, but earlier cars had a separate one which you should find near the tank.
turn the ign on and you should hear it near the drivers side rear wheel arch theyre normally in a separate cradle and have a large inlet and a smallr banjo fitting outlet hope this helps Ray ![]() |

![]() i wouldn't turn the ignition on he's took the engine out so it will piss fuel 30foot across the garden
![]() it will be in the tank dave. the easy option is to drop the tank out of the car then take it in the warm to play. |

![]() Thank's for the replies guy's.
Glad I didn't spend all morning underneath it looking ![]() Assuming that it's in the tank then ( It's a Jan 1990, TT) I don't fancy the idea of refitting in the new tank. Therefore I will need an external one. Is this the type of thing I need? http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Facet-Type-Ele...em5634f 20f9c Again any advice appreciated Cheers
