![]() Bit of a long shot... but has anyone near Cambridge got a build table they want to get rid of?
Thought it was worth asking before I go to the trouble of making one! |

![]() I found it easier to make the build table out of 40x40 steel box section as timber frame work is very rarely stright or true due to warping or rough cut timber. I use cross runners every 18" to support the surface which is good quality 10mm ply and it tends to lay flat with out needing to be forced flat. I put at a nut and bolt adjustable foot on all four legs so it can be leveled across it's width and along it's length, some thing which comes in handy when you use a sprit level later.
