Default progress update

made quite a bit of progress in the last week or 2

after some very very helpful welding advice from peoples (thanks guys) iv managed to get the chassis 99% welded, still one really 'orrible one to grind off and re-do but that'll have to wait till funds allow a die grinder!

also evicted my dad from the garage so now have a nice double garage all to myself! but have filled it with sierra parts! also got the sierra stripped down quite a bit!

because im quite methodical (get it from my mum) iv been boxing and wrapping everything up as i go so when/if it sells i only have to whack a few stamps and an address on it and off it goes! also im taking everything off the donor to make as much money back as possible (iv even taken the soundproofing out ) if anyone wants some sapphire bits you know where to come!

im quite lucky really as we have quite a bit of space here, i still live with parents... not for long tho, university next year cant wait! motorsport engineering here i come we also have quite a bit of land, so took the stripped back very light sierra around the field just for a bit of fun (the looks on some of the walkers faces were a picture!) iv never had so much fun in my life! the thing wouldnt stay in a straight line! unfortunatly no pics or video yet, going to give it one final send off before the engine come out. (will get a video for your amusement)

speaking of which im not going to be using the sierra engine as i have a zetec ready (ish) and waiting so will have a 1.8 cvh up for sale in the next month if anyone is interested (before it goes on ebay ill let you know again)

also got to do something iv wanted to do for ages today, because the sierra had a little crack in the windscreen it wasnt worth trying to get out to sell so... wait for it... i kicked it out, have no idea why but it made my day, that glue is bloody strong though!

also made myself a twirly jig to make grinding and welding the underside of the chassis a tad easier, was very useful, no longer needed so its come down now and back on the table.

Cheers
