![]() Thought I'd start a new thread on this.
I was hoping this would be a quick job as it looked really straight forward, after some cursing I can't work out quite how to fit this. If I had a rear tub it would be easy! I got the GRP parts from Handy as part of his kit. GRP2 as shown in the photo has a 5 deg end and a 90 deg end. From the pdf for the rear panel it looks like they should both be 90. So should they be straight cut if not which way round does this peice go? The modified 19mm diaganol tube (that links the GRP rear to the diff carrier framework) doesn't seem to line up either. Is the position of the flat plate that the tank sit on correct? Has anyone got the height off the build table for the rear most 25mm tube , if i have this I can weld up and make the diaganol to suit. ![]() IMAG0213 by mjb22001, on Flickr ![]() IMAG0211 by mjb22001, on Flickr

![]() the GRP tube or D13 (or both!) lol. think I'm upside down, which way is up I don't know anymore!
I tried the GRP2 in a few different positions that just where it was when I took the photo. Looking at DS13 this could be upside down?

![]() The rear fibreglass sits at the same angle as if you were doing it as per the book, accept I angled the panel inwards so it looked better. downside of that was the book fuel tank is wrong shape...doh!

![]() Ummm right well you have all that boxyness to hold the bones on..yes? then from that there are two tubes running backwards and up at an angle(whatever it is I can't remember...10degrees?) well to fit the grp you end it there and don't need the round tube with bendy ends..

![]() D13 should be up the other way so that the 40 odd degree angle sits onto grp2, the connecting bars onto grp2 should be angled up by 5 degrees from the front face, will measure the height from the jig of grp2 and post tonight. hope this helps
