![]() I always feel like an evil wizard like genius when I get an engine to work!! This is probably because I know the theory and how to plug it all in and bolt it together but the fact that it starts always surprises me!

![]() You have an air leak by the soudn of it, manifold stub from the servo or from the crank case breather are common culprits.

Have since put the idle control valve back on to a length of the old air filter pipe..put a jubilee clip around the crankcase hose as those spring clip things are crap...it has now slowed down considerably...there is a pipe connection (8mm hose) under the throttle flap that is not connected ...need to find out where it should go...then get on with plumbing the radiator and alternator in so i can run it for a bit longer... |

![]() There are two vacuum pipe stubs under the throttle housing. They are not 8mm Internal Diamiter though?
1 goes to the FPR the other is normally blanked off. TT
