Default how do i tell if my tin top has run flats? any tyre fitters out there?
its getting near time for some new boots for the front of the daily driver and its still on the orignals from the factory
is there a tyre marking for run flats? as i cant tell from the handbook or whats on the sidewall of my tyres
i do know there is no sparein the boot and a repair gel and a compressor in the boot and a tyre pressure warning light on the clocks but that is about it.

2009 mazda 6 sport estate 186 on 225/45R18 91W
orignal tyre fitment is dunlop sp sport 2050
hope thats all that is needed

Ok. From memory he doesn't think they came out with run flats but if they are they should have either run flat or rfc surrounded by a circle printed on the sidewall somewhere. Hope that helps?

My BMW came with run flats fitted ..when they were done i changed to Standard tyres and the difference is incredible 50% less road noise and loads more driving comfort ...can of foam in boot for any problems ...for the extra cost of the run flats is just not worth it IMHO

Also think dunlop use the DSST Brand name Dunlop self supporting tyre

i would have thort there would have been some sort of logo or marking on them
it migt be that switched to run flats after mine was bilt
