Default Fuel pump mounting

Hi,

I'm using a Facet solid state type fuel pump, question is should I using bobbin type mounts or just bolt down?

Probably best to use some sort of rubber mounting to absorb the vibrations and protect the pump.

Totally agree it will drive you mad with the amount of noise even from the rear.

Yes you definitely have to use rubber mounts. That is why Facet pumps also come as a kit with extra filter, fittings and rubber mounts. Rubber mounts are also available separately. See FPA905 last page of this document :

Hope this help.
