You could always try getting a message to him via the publisher. I'm sure he'd appreciate a get well type message or positive comments about the Roadster as a hobby etc but complex questions about steering geometry or the thickness of chassis tube wouldnt really seem appropriate until such time as he is back in a condition where he can use a computer.

I concur, it has been quite awhile but the last time I had corresponded it was through his publisher. Though at that time his health was not an issue, well at least as far I was aware of.

Get well? Not in a condition where he can use a computer? I wasn't aware of that--I didn't know Chris had any health issues. This is not good news.
