Rear Suspension Jig?

Is there any details of a rear suspension jig? when I redoo my mounts I want to get them right and the book is a little wooley on the desctiption and placement and measuring from some of the locations in the diagram looks like it will take 5 hands with 7 setsquares..

12MM studding with nuts to set distance then clamp check move etc the tack check recheck then weld.
you dont need jigs for any of the sus mounts if your patient and keep checking.
thats how i did mine anyway

TT - I did a dxf for a bit of plate that could be sat on the build table to do front and rear brackets - same thing could easily be done in MDF. If you want I can dig it out and add some dimensions.

Build Table... Yeah that's where my issues start, having bought a completed chassis

Any additional dimensions would be useful, from what I can determin the lower bracket center line is 35mm from the board ( so I guess must be 10mm from the base of RS1 )

I'm sure there is a way around the build table Shouldn't be a big problem setting the brackets up with just studding, that is how I di my front brackets - measure 50 times weld once

Anyhow, I've attached my jig dimensions below. The two holes in red are the rear suspension mount positions. The vertical positions are from the build table (i.e. bottom of your chassis rails) so you should be able to work back from there. Hope that is some use

The rear brackets can be done easily as stated with studding,clamp some 25x25 to the lower rails and use this as a reference/baseboard and do the same to the front.
Carefull measurements and drilling will sort it.

I had the David Murray Jigs cut when I had to redo my brackets as I cocked them up first time. I can probably post them if you want to borrow them.

They can even do the rounds if someone tracks them.
