Drive shaft covers
Been to Ford dealer this morning to order a couple of the steel covers needed to refurbish my drive shafts. The lad behind the counter couldn't find them on his parts fisch. Anybody know the part number and if they are still available?
I think there are two different sizes and my shafts are from a diesel. Surely there must be a market for these given the number of sierra driveshafts around?

Gaz, if you get really stuck,
I have a spare pair of push in driveshafts ( intended keeping them as spares), but if they help keep your build going just get in touch. They have very good CV boots & the tin cans are also in good nick. Also got spare diff & brakes etc, infact its a full backend that I have spare. cheers andy

Cheers Andy. I'll keep that in mind. just need the left hand one.
FordpartsUK didn't get back to me so I assume they're unavailable. I'm wondering what kind of market there is for them. Tooling wouldn't cost much and one of my neighbours has a business pressing car panels. Just a thought.

it will be a part that will shift, but not quickly. Demand will go up though.
