I'll give this one a bit of a bash

When it comes to registering your build, you'll be in the hands of your local DVLA office.
For some it has been an easy ride, for others it has been a nightmare !!

If you have the donors V5 in your name you should be OK

I accidently left the vin number stamped in the floor on my first donors shell.

The scrapyard had agreed to take it in as scrap metal. Unfortunately for me, some jobsworth ran it through the DVLA computer & I was unable to get the V5 put into my name

Lucky that another cheap donor turned up & I now have a V5 in my name
