Default locost/haynes

Hi guys,
reading both books, chris gibbs and ron champion at the moment for info on my build.

Im looking to buy my chassis from Talon motorsport when I take the plunge, what is this more suited too? Haynes or Locost.

From what I can see both of these are pretty similar, can someone tell me the exact differences and will I come across any problems by borrowing a bit from each book or not?

I plan on either using a Sierra donor if I can get one cheap or just sourcing a few necessary Sierra parts and going for the zetec or Duratec lump.

Any ideas, input is welcome and appreciated.

Cheers,

Dan.
