Hmmmm. Not sure. I know PPC (I think) had an article about converting a 2L Ecotech to RWD and they reckon it was great. I'll try to dig it out and see what it says. Not sure if the 1.8 and 2.0 share the same bellhousing pattern though. I would expect they do.
Edit: Seems you can either use an old manta gearbox, or a Vauxhall to Ford bellhousing (£200 ish) and use a type 9 gearbox. Last edited by deezee : 8th June 2010 at 06:14 PM.
