Having almost 2 years elaspsed since I raised this thread, I now consider myself an expect on the 4x4 mfi sierra and the best way to shoehorn it into a roadster! If you have a look at the two links below you will see every modification I had to make. Main Changes:- 4x4 sump needs to be replaced with a standard 2WD pan as the front final drive unit and probs run through th sump. Close Ratio Gearbox exchange - I used a Capri 280 box (But some models had a pulse speedo drive) Also considering a hydrolic clutch Bosch K jet fuel lines need to be extended with new braided lines Alternator will not fit so needs mounting on opposite side. Front uprights - I think you can use them, just the steel dust plates behind will be required. I but the new Rally Design ones I purchased side by side and they looked identical Apart from that you get a cheap rear LSD, Cosworth spec parts and calipers! PS, if you decide agaist using the 4x4 let me know, I wish I kept the old Sierra, but it had no interior.....!
