Agree with Ash, unless you want to use the opportunity to go to 2.1l, it's probably better to start with new. If you're having a rebore, you'll need new bearing all round, and it would be false economy not to replace oil and water pumps, and cam belt. The costs will soon be more than a new engine. Alternatively, get another one from the scrappy, cheap as chips, and there are loads of good ones out there.
