Hi Skov
The passenger side has all alloy panels  On the drivers side, the steel side plate helps to provide more room for the drivers feet & the steel bulkhead panel compliments the steel pedal box assembly to add further strength  Personally I used 2mm sheet steel for those panels, I just happened to have some 2mm Zintec kicking about the place.
