Default Carbs v throttle bodies

Hi all, I am going to be using a 1.8 pinto with a type 9 gearbox, think its' time to think about how im going to get the brum brum juice into the engine so I can have some internal bangs. So my question is what are the pros and cons of throttle bodies against twin webbers all thoughts welcomed. Oh and started the day off well by winning a sierra diff and drive shafts on the bay for £30
