Rear wheel widths

Hi,
Just curious whats the difference between a Sierra back axle width compared to an MX5 axle width. I just want to check the geometry of an MX5 rear setup compared to the book specs... If that makes sense..

Iv'e tried to find a drawing of a Sierra rear stub axle to compare but had no luck.
