Default Steering Support Frame Problems

Hello all, thought it best to put this as an individual part in the correct area:

I am having major problems getting the steering support frame sorted.
Ignoring the fact I'm using the MT mod tunnel for now, I've cut the tubes SW1,2&3 and can't work out how they fit!

Taking SW1, as far as I can make out the 25' angle is the wrong way round for the parts to fit!

have tried putting together end to end (the only way the frame could fit that i can see) and SW2 sits around 20mm low!

Am I being a massive idiot or is this a common problem?
