Default Steering coupling

I've got three universal joints on my steering. The top one is 21 years old from a sierra. The middle is 20 years old from an Escort . The bottom one that connects to the rack is 18 months old from Rally Design.

Guess which one is going in the bin.

I bought the coupling more than a year ago so Rally Design won't replace it. I wish I'd checked it when I got it. Wasn't until last week that I finally connected all the steering up and found out how much play there is in the joint. I can't use it because I just can't trust it.

So has anyone used an alternative joint from elsewhere? It was the sierra one to Escort rack and I can't find them anywhere else.
