There shouldn't be much difference - the completed cars are very similar.

The Locost was designed before the implimentation of the SVA but if you look at my book and on the internet, it's not difficult make a Locost SVA compliant.

I don't think the IVA will be much more difficult to pass than the SVA for this type of car. Most of the differences are common sense, like having a working horn and tread on the tyres!

Difficulties could be the need for a reverse gear (bike engined cars) and the proposals regarding covering the exhaust, although this requirement is likely to be dropped after some of the kit car "big boys" kicked up a fuss as it would be treating motorcycles in a different way to cars.
