Hi all,

I'm purchasing some proper wheels now and wheel offsets are confusing me.

I can't seem to find a 15" steel wheel with the Sierra offset of 35 - 45. The closest I've found is a Fiesta wheel with an offset of 47mm (http://www.tyreleader.co.uk/steel-wh...vi/1-25-19916).

Will these be alright or do I need to keep hunting?

hi use this site and it will show the differences for you, its the one I use to compare tyre sizes etc

Only 1 Sierra model had 15" steel wheels and only sold in Germany according to Google, the MK 1/2 Mondeo had 15" steel wheels with the same range of offsets 35-45 mm and the same hole center of 63.4mm 4 x 108 stud pattern.
Many mondeo's also had 16" steels.

Citroen C5 MK1 had 15" steel wheels with the same stud pattern as many westy owners have used with an offset of 15-25mm,with a hole center of 65.1mm, but be careful as they also used 16" steels,

I'm confused there are plenty of wheels about with the right kind of offset.
Try to not get too tangled up with the right figure as as the rim gets wider the required offset to prevent contact and look correct will change
I have just removed a set of 15" 6.5j et38 and have fitted a set of 15" 7j et35 Both with 195/50r15's
Both fit fine

The old ones I need to sell now ;-)
